CMT Director, Margaret Humphreys, gives evidence to the Royal Commission in Sydney

The Royal Commission held a public hearing in Sydney from Wednesday, 25 March 2015 – Friday, 27 March 2015.

The purpose of the hearing is to enable invited persons and institutions to speak to their written submissions to the Royal Commission's consultation paper on redress and civil litigation.

At the hearing today in Sydney, CMT International Director, Dr Margaret Humphreys CBE OAM, said:

'Post-apology issues of redress... remain the responsibility of Commonwealth Governments.  We cannot stand by... at this important stage and see governments fail to accept their responsibility to Britain's child migrants and their families'.
