Conducting family research worldwide

Former child migrants were usually born in England, Northern Ireland, Scotland or Wales.  Consequently, these are the main sources and centres of the Trust's family research.

However, there are many examples of mothers who have left Britain and moved abroad.  Perhaps a father was stationed in Britain during or shortly after WW2  before returning home.  Home, in this case, might be Canada or somewhere like the United States of America.

In all these examples, the Trust will try to find key family members, no matter where they live today.
